To whom it may concern:
My child, CHILDN'S NAME HERE XXXXXXX, will not be inoculated because it conflicts with the practice of our family's religious tenets.
Our family’s personal religious beliefs prohibit the injection of foreign substances into our bodies. Vaccines contain foreign substances. We believe that the Holy Bible teaches that parents are responsible for the care of their children. We believe that we cannot willfully go against the law of God, and fully put our trust in Him for our child’s health.
We believe in God, and that God has created us in his image. In being created in God’s image, we are given his perfect immune system. We believe it is sacrilegious and a violation of our sacred religious beliefs to violate what God has given us by showing a lack of faith in God.
Lastly, our religious beliefs are also based upon the understanding of what God requires of
“Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God and ye are not your own?” (1st COR 6:19)
“That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” (1st COR 2:5)
“You must know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is within the spirit you have received from God. You are not your own.” (1st COR 6:19)
“As a consequence, your faith rests not on the wisdom of men but on the power of God.” (1st COR 2:5)
“I know with certainly on the authority of Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself: it is only when a man thinks something unclean that it becomes so for him.” (Romans 14:14)
“If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.” (1st COR: 3:17)
“For to his angels he has given command about you, that they guard you in all your ways.” (Psalms 91:11)
“Follow God your Lord, remain in awe of him, keep His commandments, obey and serve Him and you will then be able to cling to Him.” (Leviticus, 19:1,2)
I am, respectfully, providing you with the NJ State Religious Exemption Law below for your review.
NJAC 8:57-4.4 Religious Exemption Law:
"A child shall be exempted from mandatory immunization if the parent or guardian objects thereto in a written statement submitted to the school, preschool, or childcare center, signed by the parent or guardian, explaining how the administration of the immunizing agents conflicts with the pupil's exercise of bona fide religious tenets or practices. General philosophical or moral objection to immunization shall not be sufficient for an exemption on religious grounds."
Additionally, I am quoting below information directly from NJ's Office State Website:
"Everyone is entitled to claim a religious exemption even if you have vaccinated previously. It is discriminatory for the school administrators or health officials to ask you to provide a letter from your religious organization. All religions are entitled to claim religious exemption from vaccination. "
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me in writing.
Respectfully yours,
