Do we really know what makes us healthy? (NYTimes)

You'll need the interest and time to read this article.  It's very long 9 pages...from the NYTimes Magazine today.  It's mostly about testing the safety and efficacy of prescription drugs, in particular they use HRT as an example (hormone replacement therapy - estrogen).  It talks about the science behind prescriptions, how the science is developed, how studies are performed, different types of studies, impact of cancer on society, how difficult it is to get real results from these studies, stuff like that.  I liked it...if you are a science hound, maybe you will like it too!

XOXO

P.S.  Certainly forward it on to anyone you know, maybe your mom or aunt, who took an HRT Rx...
